Glad you like it.

Thanks David for getting the cmdline changes to prove done.  I think  
we can live without the --plugin-opt syntax for the moment; it won't  
be hard to add in if it really annoys people.

As for killing off the ENV approach: we can't.  People can always  
access %ENV, and could feasibly pass args to their plugins that way.   
I reckon we just don't advertise the fact.

I've done that.

I've also fixed some bugs in the testsuite reported by Cosimo  
Streppone who helped out by running the testsuite on win32 a while  
back.  I'd suggest another run on win32 before spinning a release (if  
possible).
