Dropping 5.5.x

Also, to be a calendar pedant, the 21st century started on Jan 1st, 2001.  So
you'd have to drop 5.6.0 as well.

Which would help, 5.6.0 is pretty buggy.  If you can't manage to upgrade from
5.6.0 to 5.6.1 you have deeper problems.
