Could I suggest cleaning up the directory structure, then?  So that
the "test-harness" project repository contains N distribution
directories?  Along the lines of:

/test-harness.git/
    TAP-Formatter-TextMate/
    TAP-Harness-Archive/
    Test-Harness/
    Test-More-Diagnostic/

Since with git, you don't need branches/tags directories, this becomes
quite clean to work with.
