Replacing Test::Harness Classes

OK, we've had a bit of pain from time to time with overriding Test::Harness classes.  Many people want to *easily* replace the formatter.  I want to replace App::Prove::State.  Not being able to do this has tremendously limited people's ability to customize things.  If we take care of this before there's too much work to override things the hard way, this might be straightforward.

Currently I think this may be an option for .proverc, but we've already documented its format.  Does anyone else have other suggestions aside from adding really nasty command line switches?
