End of life for pre 5.6?

Since Schwern effectively ended Test::Builder support for pre 5.6 releases of Perl, are we free to do the same?  I realize that there are some people out there who would care, but do we?  5.6 is what, 8 years old now?

What are the pros and cons of this?
