You should probably ask some of the CPAN Testers leaderboard (Chris
Williams, David Cantrell) to try it out, though this has some risks,
such as when Andreas installed 2.99_01 which caused a lot of spurious
fails before we got T::H and CPAN::Reporter patched.
Most smokers are YACSmoke-based (i.e. CPANPLUS) which, last I saw,
doesn't depend so heavily on Test::Harness output as CPAN::Reporter
did (usually it relies on exit codes). I think it still screen
scrapes for the NOTESTS case -- someone should ping Kane about that.
