I've thought I've said this before, but on the off chance I haven't,
I'm not wedded to our current formatting "standard" as implemented by
perltidy.  If anyone has any reasonable options, I'm happy with that so
long as we can maintain consistent formatting across the code base
(hell, hack up .perltidyrc or check in a custom perltidy for all I care
:)
