My Testdrive account isn't working - I should probably sign up for
another but I'm giving them a little while to sort it out rather than
litter their boxes with abandoned accounts.
It seems that VMS under simh-vax /is/ viable - which raises the
possibility of VMS smoking hosted in an emulated environment. Getting
hold of the VMS hobbyist licence and media is a bit of a pain - I'm
trying to navigate through that now.
There's also a possibility that the Charon VAX people will be
prepared to donate a licence for their emulator. Their initial
response was encouraging - just waiting to hear from the people who
have the final say.
