Thanks.  I'm standing on the shoulders of giants, though.  I just
automated the build process from the original Vanilla Perl as a YAPC
2006 hackathon project.

Then I got so annoyed at stupid test failures from hard-coded file
paths in *.t files that I wrote CPAN::Reporter to have a way to submit
test reports from Win32.  That's turned out to be the bigger, more
demanding project.  ;-)

to see what work has come *since* the release of Vanilla/Strawberry.
The advantage of having people actually run tests instead of just
relying on binary packages is that these kinds of bugs can get flushed
out and many of them fixed.
