That's a bad thing alright. We can fix it simply just by not passing  
coderefs to GetOptions, no? We don't *need* to pass coderefs to  
GetOptions. Let's add a comment saying: "Don't add coderefs to this  
GetOptions call without understanding this..."

Most of all let's *stop arguing* and release some code. We're target  
fixating on questions that few people outside of this list (and  
possibly on this list) give a shit about. Every day that we spend  
pushing inconsequential issues around is another day when all the  
people who would benefit from using this code are denied easy access  
to it.

We need to release so people can use the code.
We need to release so we can revise and clarify our priorities.
We need to release so we can get on with the rest of our lives.
