I've been wondering the same thing myself - what do we still need to do?
I confess that's one thing (i.e. the important thing) that I feel I've
lost track of. There are things I'd *like* to do:

* I'm still quite attached to the idea of nested TAP blocks
* we don't do anything sensible with the YAMLish blocks other than
  parse them
* I never made much progress on making the harness properly MVC for
  ease of plugging in different views.

But I don't think any of those things require incompatible changes to
the existing API and I don't think they're show stoppers.

My only other concern is whether the Test::Harness compatibility is good
enough. It's certainly not perfect but I don't have a good feel for how
close it needs to be.
