The argument I have against that is that D::C was working fine and,
for no apparent reason, stopped working.
It didnt stop after an 'svn up' on the TAP::Parser code, or a 
'cpan install Devel::Cover' - it stopped between one code edit and
another. And that code edit wasnt a change to a module in the lib
path, it was a change to t/030-grammar.t.

So what does that mean ? No idea, but once it broke its never worked
again.

Also, I can only find D::C releases 0.59, 0.60 and 0.61(current) on
CPAN - anyone know where some older ones might be ?
