Hi all,

Are we ready to code? Are we excited!? Yes!

Do we have a blog/reporting application!? Not right now. I think it's
going to have to be e-mail at the moment.

Mentors and students: please send a status report to this mailing list
before 10pm PDT on Saturday (just under 48 hours from now.)

If you're wondering what should go in the 0-hour status report, it is
simply a sum-up of what you've done thus far and whether there is
anything you're still needing. Such as:

  * url of your version control repository/branch
  * summary of your toolchain/build setup thus far
(what you had to install, any snags?)
  * which mailing lists and IRC channels you'll be using

Please write your report as though you were blogging it (provide a bit
of context, etc -- rather than just inline replies to my questions) and
include [report] in the subject line. I'll work on patching things
into the "blog" archive once it exists.

Mentors: your report can just be a reply to your student's report
affirming and/or clarifying what they've said, plus anything you have
to add.

Going forward, I would like to get status reports weekly. I'll
tentatively say that the deadline will always be 10pm PDT on Saturday.
But, if the 6 of you want to form some concensus on a preferred time
for a deadline, we can do that.

Students: Any tax forms or other paperwork left to file with Google?

Ok, so is everybody ready to kick-off a great summer on Monday? Any
questions?

Thanks,
Eric
