Eh? Why on earth would anyone want this? Surely a meaningful or memorable url is better than a randomly-named shorter one? Or maybe not, to you Mac / open source types..
It’s mainly to generate short links to paste into emails. Maybe you non Mac / open source types are unconcerned about sending ugly emails containing links that don’t work.
